K.W. Doggett Fine Paper required a newsletter builder component for their Joomla Powered website. Chillburn delivered a component which looks great and is easy to use.

Editing the newsletter is a breeze for the staff at K.W Doggett, adding of images, text & links is done with an immediate preview. The newsletter has also been developed with 5 different template. Check out some of the screenshots of this Joomla Component in action.

1. Select a template

2. This will create a blank newsletter template

3. First we will select a header image. A lightbox will popup so that you can select an existing image or upload a new image.

4. This is the newsletter preview after selecting a header image. It has instantly updated the preview

5. Edit intro article. This provides us with some textboxes.

6. Edit intro article - enter in some content

7. Click apply and we are taken back to the newsletter preview.

Its as simple as that to create and edit content and images.

Joomla Module

Another requirement was to create a module which communicated with an inhouse system to manage subscribers. This was acheived by using csv files and an automated script which connected to the inhouse system.
